About Us

Ali Hassan, MD, MS, FACEP

Founder, CEO and Chief Medical Officer

Ali Hassan is Owner-Operator of 1st Choice Urgent Care and OccMed Connect, two companies dedicated to providing a higher level of care in both Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine.

Hassan earned his Medical Degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan and completed a residency program in Emergency Medicine at Detroit Receiving Hospital in 2004. He currently remains an active staff physician in the Emergency Department at Detroit Receiving Hospital and Sinai Grace Hospital.

With a background in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine, Hassan has a keen understanding of the role of Urgent Care Medicine in Health Care today and the need for Employers to control their cost and have a healthy and reliable workforce. He has previously served as the President of the Urgent Care Association of Michigan and remains an active member of the Urgent Care Association of America.

Ali Ayoub

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Ali Ayoub is our Director of Operations and has served in this role since our formation on November 14, 2023. Since June 2019, and continuing to date, Ali Ayoub has served as Director of Operations of First Choice Urgent Care, located in Dearborn, Michigan. Since 2015, and continuing to date, Ali Ayoub has served as a board certified nurse practitioner with the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan.

Raul Villareal

CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER AND FRANCHISE SUPPORT DIRECTOR

Raul Villareal is our Chief Marketing Officer and Franchise Support Director and has served in this role since our formation on November 14, 2023. Since September 2017, and continuing to date, Raul Vallareal has served as the Director of Marketing of the First Choice Urgent Care and OccMed Connect Clinics in Dearborn, Michigan.

Diana Mandock

DIRECTOR OF OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SERVICES

Diana Mandock-Davis is our Director of Occupational Health Services and has served in this role since November 14, 2023. Since February 2018 Ms. Mandock-Davis served as the Director of Occupational Health Services at First Choice Urgent Care and OccMed Connect Clinics in Dearborn, Michigan.

Started Doing Occupational Health Services

Started offering Occupational Health Services within the 1st Choice Urgent Care facilities

Created OccMed Connect

Created OccMed Connect as a separate company with a focus of providing Occupational Health Services – Each new urgent care location that opened featured an OccMed Connect clinic

2023

Opened 9th Location!

Opened our ninth OccMed Connect in the newest 1st Choice Urgent Care location
